Shipping Policy

PEKTECH Information Technologies CC delivers orders throughout Namibia using Formula Couriers.

Product availability

Products on our online store display one of the following availability statuses:

In stock: The product is available immediately from our local PEKTECH stock and will be prepared for dispatch as soon as the order and payment have been confirmed.

Available on order: The product is sourced from our supplier in South Africa. Supplier orders are generally placed once a month. Once the product arrives at PEKTECH, it will be dispatched to the customer using Formula Couriers.

We will provide an estimated delivery date after receiving an order for an available-on-order product. Estimated dates are provided in good faith and may change due to supplier availability, transport, customs clearance or other circumstances beyond our control.

Express shipping from South Africa

Customers who do not want to wait for our monthly consolidated supplier order may request express shipping for products marked “Available on order.”

Express shipping from our South African supplier is available for an additional flat fee of N$550 per order. This allows the product to be ordered separately and shipped to Namibia sooner, subject to supplier stock availability.

The N$550 express fee covers express shipping from South Africa to PEKTECH. Any applicable local delivery charge from PEKTECH to the customer will still be calculated separately.

Express delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by supplier processing, transport, customs clearance or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Please contact PEKTECH before placing your order to confirm availability and the estimated delivery time.

Shipping charges

Shipping charges are calculated and displayed during checkout, based on the order and delivery destination.

Any additional charges resulting from an incorrect or incomplete delivery address may be charged to the customer.

Order processing

Orders are processed on business days after payment has been successfully received and verified.

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day. Dispatch may be delayed if additional customer information, payment verification or stock confirmation is required.

Delivery times

Delivery times depend on the destination and the Formula Couriers delivery schedule.

Delivery times begin once the order has been collected by the courier and do not include order-processing time or the time required to source products marked “Available on order.”

Courier delivery estimates are not guaranteed. Delays caused by weather, road conditions, remote delivery locations, peak periods or other circumstances outside the control of PEKTECH may occur.

Tracking

Where tracking information is available, it will be provided after the order has been dispatched.

Tracking information may take some time to become active after the parcel has been collected by Formula Couriers.

Delivery address

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, contact name and telephone number when placing an order.

PEKTECH is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries or additional courier charges caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

Please contact us as soon as possible if your delivery information needs to be changed. An address cannot be changed after the courier has collected the parcel unless Formula Couriers approves the request, and additional charges may apply.

Receiving your order

The customer, or an authorised person at the delivery address, must be available to receive and sign for the order where required.

Please inspect the parcel when it is delivered. If the packaging appears damaged, please note the damage with the courier where possible and take photographs before opening the parcel.

Any damaged, missing or incorrect items must be reported to PEKTECH within 48 hours of delivery. Please include your order number and clear photographs of the parcel, packaging, shipping label and affected product.

Failed deliveries and uncollected parcels

If Formula Couriers cannot complete delivery because nobody is available, the address is incorrect or the customer cannot be contacted, the parcel may be returned to a courier depot or to PEKTECH.

Any additional delivery or return charges may be payable by the customer before the parcel is dispatched again.

Orders containing different stock types

If an order contains both in-stock and available-on-order products, the order may be held until all products are ready for dispatch.

Customers who would like the in-stock products shipped separately should contact PEKTECH. Additional shipping charges may apply to split deliveries.

Risk and responsibility

PEKTECH remains responsible for preparing and packaging orders appropriately before handing them to Formula Couriers.

Once an order has been delivered and accepted at the address supplied by the customer, responsibility for the product passes to the customer.
