Returns and Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase from PEKTECH Information Technologies CC. Please read this policy before placing your order.

Stock availability

Our products are displayed using the following stock statuses:

In stock: The product is available immediately from our local PEKTECH stock.

Available on order: The product is sourced from our supplier in South Africa. Supplier orders are generally placed once a month, after which the product will be delivered to PEKTECH and then collected by or shipped to the customer. Estimated delivery dates are provided in good faith but may be affected by supplier availability, transport, customs or other circumstances beyond our control.

Change-of-mind returns

In-stock products may be returned within 7 calendar days after delivery or collection, provided that:

• The product is unused and in its original condition.

• The original packaging, accessories, manuals and included items are complete.

• The product has not been installed, configured, registered, activated or physically altered.

• Valid proof of purchase is provided.

• PEKTECH has approved the return before the product is sent back.

Products returned with damaged packaging, missing accessories or signs of use may be refused or subject to a reasonable handling or restocking deduction.

Delivery, collection and return shipping charges are not refundable for change-of-mind returns. The customer is responsible for returning the product safely to PEKTECH.

Available-on-order products

Products marked “Available on order” are specially sourced from our South African supplier after the customer places an order.

An available-on-order product may be cancelled for a full refund before PEKTECH submits the supplier order. Once the supplier order has been submitted, the order cannot normally be cancelled, changed or returned for a change of mind.

This does not affect the customer’s rights if the product supplied is incorrect, damaged, defective or materially different from its description.

If the supplier cannot fulfil the order, the customer may choose an alternative product or receive a full refund for the unavailable item.

Damaged or incorrect products

Please inspect your order as soon as it is received.

If a product arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect, please notify PEKTECH within 48 hours of delivery. Include your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs of the product, packaging and shipping label.

Do not install, configure or continue using a damaged or incorrect product. PEKTECH will assess the claim and arrange an appropriate replacement, repair or refund.

Defective products and warranties

If a product develops a fault, please contact PEKTECH with your proof of purchase, order number, serial number and a description of the fault.

Products covered by a manufacturer or supplier warranty may need to be inspected or sent to the authorised distributor or service centre. Warranty processing times depend on the manufacturer or supplier and may require the product to be sent to South Africa.

A warranty does not generally cover:

• Accidental or physical damage

• Water, moisture, lightning or electrical surge damage

• Misuse, neglect or improper storage

• Incorrect installation or configuration

• Unauthorised repairs, alterations or modifications

• Damage caused by incompatible equipment or power supplies

• Normal wear and tear

• Removed, damaged or altered serial numbers

• Software, connectivity or compatibility issues not caused by a hardware defect

PEKTECH may test the returned product before approving a warranty claim. If no fault is found, or the problem falls outside the warranty, inspection, transport or repair charges may apply. The customer will be informed before chargeable work proceeds.

Non-returnable products

Unless damaged, defective or incorrectly supplied, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns for:

• Available-on-order or specially sourced products after the supplier order has been submitted

• Products that have been installed, configured, registered or activated

• Software, licences, subscriptions or digital products

• Products with opened security seals where resale is not possible

• Custom-made, modified or specially configured products

• Clearance or final-sale products identified as non-returnable

• Products missing their original packaging, accessories or serial numbers

Return process

Before returning a product, please contact PEKTECH through the contact details provided on our online store.

Please provide:

• Your order number

• Proof of purchase

• The product name and serial number

• The reason for the return

• Photographs or videos where applicable

Products sent back without prior approval may be refused. Customers remain responsible for products until they have been safely received and inspected by PEKTECH.

Refunds

Once the returned product has been received and inspected, we will advise whether the refund has been approved.

Approved refunds will be made using the original payment method where possible. Bank and payment-provider processing times may apply. Original delivery charges are refundable only when the product was damaged, defective, incorrectly supplied or the order could not be fulfilled.

If only part of an order is returned, only the value of the approved returned item will be refunded.

Order cancellations

In-stock orders may be cancelled before dispatch for a full refund.

Available-on-order products may be cancelled for a full refund only before PEKTECH submits the order to its South African supplier. Once submitted, cancellation is subject to supplier approval and any non-refundable supplier, transport, payment-processing or administrative costs already incurred.

Legal rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit any rights or remedies available to customers under applicable Namibian law.

PEKTECH Information Technologies CC reserves the right to assess each return individually and to update this policy when necessary.
